1) Enter new markets;
2) Develop businesses in areas strategic to GE; and
3) Maximize GE assets.

With access to unparalleled resources through GE’s Global Research Center, GE Digital, and GE’s IoT platform, Predix, the NBC Team leverages GE’s operational excellence, brand and scale to create options for breakout growth. NBC builds and funds new companies (“NewCos”) and participates in all aspects of the company building process: landscaping and solving for product-market fit, evaluating internal and external assets, crafting the business plan, building the financial and funding models, and operating the NewCos until permanent Management is hired. Industries in which the NBC Team has developed or is working on new opportunities include healthcare, energy, advanced manufacturing, and software and analytics.

Role Summary/Purpose:
The NBC Associate Intern will be responsible for driving assisting the team on the customer discovery process and market research analysis. This position will be responsible for conducting primary market research on new market entry points into a NewCo. This research will require analysis into TAM, SAM, installed base, market share, value proposition, and point of entry into new markets.
