This role is on point to fuel growth at a company ready to change the way enterprises manage communications. Mast Mobile has developed a new communication software platform that is integrated deep into mobile networks, which enables capabilities that OTT players cannot provide.

Our mission is to unleash the value of mobile for small enterprises. Our platform provides an end-to-end solution for communication that is mobile from the ground-up, radically simplifying the fragmented environments and tools that companies struggle with today. We help companies make their employees more productive and creative, secure and leverage their business data, and codify and significantly reduce costs.

Mast makes mobile work for companies because it also makes it work better for their employees. No one wants to carry two devices ( – not only Hillary), and our solution enables both a work number and a personal number on one device in a totally native and intuitive way. You have to use it to believe how good it is.

We founded the business in summer 2013 and is backed by leading East and West Coast VCs. We launched commercially last month after a beta phase since January in which over 20 companies took part, and it’s all about ramping sales now.

We are building an inside sales team and need a marketing lead to make a measurable impact as we launch the commercial service this spring. We are looking for a multi-channel marketer who experiments with approaches until they solve the acquisition puzzle—and keeps improving them. That means someone who dreams up ideas and executes strategies that tactically advance our reach, no matter how crazy those ideas might seem.

The position reports to the CEO and co-founder. The go-to-market and customer engagement teams are based in NYC, and the engineering team is in both NYC and Paris.

We’re looking for an energized and creative jack-of- all-trades who can drive customer acquisition. The best fit will be someone who loves to test, learn and iterate on the fly.

We want someone with the potential to develop the role as the company grows. Compensation is competitive, with an emphasis on equity.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • •Research and understand target customer segments and get inside the heads of our buyer personas.
  • Design customer acquisition campaigns, including tactical plans, across different channels based on insights into our target customers.
  • •Set up, QA and run A/B tests on all acquisition tactics.
  • •Report results and tactical iterations to management and product team on a weekly basis.
  • Deliver actionable insights to product team and inside sales team based on research and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • •At least five years of professional or entrepreneurial marketing experience.
  • Experience with customer acquisition, ideally in the B2B SaaS market, but some consumer work would be great as well.
  • Expert understanding of social media, email marketing, analytics, and A/B test implementation.
  • Innate interest in learning about customer behavior through numerical and qualitative data.
  • Super passionate about testing, analyzing and iterating.
  • Sufficient design and graphic editing skills to create and modify marketing assets that support channel requirements and any test variations.
  • •Great communication skills to present actionable data to the team.
  • •A penchant for finding unique solutions to complex problems as they relate to customer acquisition and website experience.
  • Enthusiasm for and ability to succeed in an unstructured environment – it’s a startup.
